I want to learn Krav Maga, but ... first I need to get in shape
Many people interested in self-defense training postpone starting classes thinking they first need to go to the gym, “to get in shape.” Most argue that this way they’ll be better once they start training, but they’re wrong. If you’re interested in the self-defense component, you have no reason to fill your time with anything else — we’re waiting for you at the gym!
What is Krav Maga?
Krav Maga is an efficient and easy-to-learn self-defense system, accessible to anyone precisely because it’s based on natural reflexes and biomechanical principles. If you’re attacked, you have to manage with the physical attributes you have at that moment — you may be untrained, tired, injured, and in those moments you have no choice, you can’t postpone violence. Obviously strength and speed help, but they’re not the most important elements in a self-defense situation. Determination, for example, is one of them and has nothing to do with “muscles.”
Train your body with Krav Maga
Our training sessions are dynamic and include a “fitness” component — exercises for strength, speed, and endurance, adapted to each student’s level. By attending training, you’re closer to your goal, whether it’s losing weight, toning up, or improving your physical condition.
So don’t hesitate! Sign up for classes now and believe in yourself! Learn to defend yourself and protect your loved ones!
