Self-defense on public transportation: psychology and deception tactics (Saturday, 10:00 AM)
Public transportation represents enclosed, often crowded spaces where it is difficult to avoid or escape from a potential aggressor. During this seminar you will learn how to manage these high-risk situations and techniques adapted to these specific constraints.
The limited space in buses, subways, or trams restricts traditional defensive movements. Additionally, in public transport you may encounter a variety of potential aggressors, from pickpockets to violent or mentally unstable individuals. Psychological and deception techniques are essential for defusing dangerous situations before they escalate.
Lastly, reacting in the presence of other passengers can be complicated. The training will cover strategies for seeking help and managing the situation without endangering others.
How to help others in danger using Krav Maga (Saturday, 4:00 PM)
In public danger situations, the ability to safely intervene to help others can save lives. Participants will learn how to quickly assess situations and intervene effectively.
Helping others involves significant risks. The training will cover danger assessment, de-escalation techniques, and intervention methods that minimise risk for all parties involved. Situations where others are in danger can vary greatly — from street harassment to armed attacks. Participants will learn to adapt Krav Maga techniques to a wide range of scenarios.
Defense against attacks with sharp/edged objects (Sunday, 10:00 AM)
Confronting an edged weapon can be extremely intimidating. Attacks with edged weapons are among the most dangerous self-defense scenarios, with high lethal potential. Participants will learn vital techniques to maximise their chances of survival.
Attacks with sharp objects can be extremely fast and difficult to anticipate. Aggressors can use a wide range of sharp or edged objects, from knives to glass shards. Participants will learn defense principles applicable to various types of edged weapons, and the training will focus on developing reflexes and reaction time.
Each of these training sessions will provide you with critical self-defense skills, adapted to specific high-risk scenarios encountered in real life. The combination of these three training sessions will offer comprehensive preparation to face diverse and potentially lethal situations.

For active IKMF instructors only:
