Krav Maga in Budapest
As announced 2 weeks ago, we are back with details regarding the Budapest seminars at the end of the month. They will be held on 28 and 29 November and will be led by Atilla Jónás, Expert 1 and Director of KRAV MAGA BASE, the IKMF branch in Hungary, with the participation of local Instructors — Tibor Kincses G2 and Kornélia Kis G1.
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday, between 10:00 - 18:30
Topics:
- self-defense as controlled aggression
- training technical and motor qualities
- “awakening” the survival instinct
- plausible scenarios
- defense against armed attacks
- combat tactics
- escape / breakaway techniques
- protecting a third person
- IKMF curriculum
- examination for levels P1 and P2
Training will take place both indoors and outdoors, in open space.
Location:
Ke2 GYM, Újpest Budapest, IV. district, Kiss Ernő u.2. Access: a 10-minute walk from the last station (Újpest Központ) of Metro line 3 (M3 blue line). Details on Google Maps
Organisation:
- arrival from Saturday at 09:15, at the gym
- during the day there will be a single long break for lunch
- energising snacks are recommended for shorter breaks: bars, chocolate, drinks, etc.
- a valid IKMF passport is required for examination
Facilities:
- fully equipped training hall with changing rooms and showers
- free street parking in front of the gym
- microwave for meals during breaks
- easy access to a supermarket and restaurants
- seminar participants have the option to sleep in the gym for a fee (must be announced in advance)
Required equipment:
- standard training gear, protective equipment
- appropriate clothing (thermal underwear) for outdoor training. Keep in mind that this clothing will get dirty / may get damaged!
- a sports bag suitable for outdoor use as well
- accessories: knives, weapons, sticks / batons (if available)
